...Is well on it's way. We now have a pretty decent sound system, stage lighting, some DJ gear (and soon to be getting more), all our fire performance safety gear, vehicles to carry it all... ...and about 35 performers in a total of 3 to 5 different tribes who can all actually get along and perform with each other. That is actually where our strength lies....in the people. I'm blessed to be able to work with them, most are my friends also. Now on to making it all legal and all that good stuff that the government wants you to do..... ...'cause the gigs are starting to roll in and I don't want to be caught with the proverbial "pants down". Just have to follow a few simple steps and it's all good..... well, that and send off a couple of things to some people I really do owe.... Anyway, life is good, no, it's great. heat stroke to be exact. Stood(like a dumb ass) in front of my sisters house in 100+ Phoenix weather and spun my fire staff for, oh, about 3 hours......then help then move. By the time I got to 'da house I was shiverin' like a dog shittin' razor blades. EVERYthing hurts. STILL hurts, and its been over 24 hours now. and all the while I lay in my bed "passing out" (like an autistic teuretts victim on methamphetamine), I kind of lucid dream this all night wrench session in whitch I build an assortment of propane cannons... ....well, I do leave for the SanFran fire arts expo on monday..... need sleep and hydration.

Dammit Man!!!!!!!! ............just got back from the AZ regional Burn...TOAST! I'm dehydrated. I'm still tired as hell. My lips and face are chapped from blowing too much fire. My back and hands hurt, have burns and cuts on them from too much fire staff work and such. BUT MY SOUL IS BEGINING TO COME ALIVE AGAIN!!!!!! Dammit Man!!!!!! And I even got to meet the GlamGothDiva herself!! DoubleDammit Man!!!!! That alone was worth it, for me. Next stop; SanFrancisco Fire Arts Exposition, with RichardWiz and Toaster Boy. ................then on to the big burn....................... The world is starting to turn 'technicolor' again, where as the florida shit and some of my personal demons had it a really fucked up shade of dull grey. A few items of a very symbolic nature are to be burned in the desert....then maybe I'll be free of my biggest demon.....who is still in florida and still haunts my dreams. Maybe it will work......it will be the end of over 2 years of walking this desolate path I used to call my life. Bursts of colour, such as the last week, give me hope. And it seems to get harder/easier with time and meeting new and good people, who care, and slaying the dragons in my head. ....I can now sleep with the door open. Fell asleep in the middle of a large crowd of peeps a few times. Haven't done that in years. Thankyou to everyone who helped my heal. You know who you are.
