If this man asks you to dance just do it. Seriously. Don't invoke such foolish excuses as "I don't know how," "My religion forbids it on penalty of death," or "I lost both my legs in the war." He will make a dancer out of you over your protestations. And if in the process you step on his feet, poke him in the eye, or visit other even crueler indignities upon his person, he will be more kind and patient than you deserve. Trust me. I know.

An unexpected thing happened to me at a party on New Year's Eve; I found myself swing dancing with this charming and delightful man. Although I hadn't done it in years, it all came back in a flash, thanks to Brian's strong lead, fantastic energy, and charisma. He's an amazing dancer, and I truly enjoyed taking over the dance floor with him. Who knew swing dancing could be sexy?

I mean, I was excited already... but... Prince.... I mean. Fucking PRINCE?!? And it's even better. The other two headliners are Rodger Waters and Jack Johnson. Neither of which I'm that into. So, this means the bands that I really DO want to see won't be "headliners." Which means.... smaller crowds. Which means.... I get to be closer!!
