GREAT DOMES FOR THE BURN.
Back from Zero Ground in the Bay
What an incredible experience in entheogenic event building! Zero Ground in the Bay was produced by Symbiosos, Get Freaky, and Raindance and went totally off the the meter! Everything about this event was cutting edge. From the music to the visual tech's work it was all stunning to observe. We had the oppertunity to do space shaping in the main room. People really seemed activated by what we did. I was full of joy as around 1000+ people vibed in the main room underneath our interdimensional mandalas. I hope they all got to connect deeper to the universal energies that abounded that night. Here is a pic of the event. You can find more pics at spaceshaping.net

The real story of Thanksgiving -
Most of us associate the holiday with happy Pilgrims and Indians sitting down to a big feast. And that did happen - once. The story began in 1614 when a band of English explorers sailed home to England with a ship full of Patuxet Indians bound for slavery. They left behind smallpox which virtually wiped out those who had escaped. By the time the Pilgrims arrived in Massachusetts Bay they found only one living Patuxet Indian, a man named Squanto who had survived slavery in England and knew their language. He taught them to grow corn and to fish, and negotiated a peace treaty between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Nation. At the end of their first year, the Pilgrims held a great feast honoring Squanto and the Wampanoags.
But as word spread in England about the paradise to be found in the new world, religious zealots called Puritans began arriving by the boat load. Finding no fences around the land, they considered it to be in the public domain. Joined by other British settlers, they seized land, capturing strong young Natives for slaves and killing the rest. But the Pequot Nation had not agreed to the peace treaty Squanto had negotiated and they fought back. The Pequot War was one of the bloodiest Indian wars ever fought.
In 1637 near present day Groton, Connecticut, over 700 men, women and children of the Pequot Tribe had gathered for their annual Green Corn Festival which is our Thanksgiving celebration. In the predawn hours the sleeping Indians were surrounded by English and Dutch mercenaries who ordered them to come outside. Those who came out were shot or clubbed to death while the terrified women and children who huddled inside the longhouse were burned alive. The next day the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony declared "A Day Of Thanksgiving" because 700 unarmed men, women and children had been murdered.
Cheered by their "victory", the brave colonists and their Indian allies attacked village after village. Women and children over 14 were sold into slavery while the rest were murdered. Boats loaded with a many as 500 slaves regularly left the ports of New England. Bounties were paid for Indian scalps to encourage as many deaths as possible.
Following an especially successful raid against the Pequot in what is now Stamford, Connecticut, the churches announced a second day of "thanksgiving" to celebrate victory over the heathen savages. During the feasting, the hacked off heads of Natives were kicked through the streets like soccer balls. Even the friendly Wampanoag did not escape the madness. Their chief was beheaded, and his head impaled on a pole in Plymouth, Massachusetts -- where it remained on display for 24 years.
The killings became more and more frenzied, with days of thanksgiving feasts being held after each successful massacre. George Washington finally suggested that only one day of Thanksgiving per year be set aside instead of celebrating each and every massacre. Later Abraham Lincoln decreed Thanksgiving Day to be a legal national holiday during the Civil War -- on the same day he ordered troops to march against the starving Sioux in Minnesota.
This story doesn't have quite the same fuzzy feelings associated with it as the one where the Indians and Pilgrims are all sitting down together at the big feast. But we need to learn our true history so it won't ever be repeated. Next Thanksgiving, when you gather with your loved ones to Thank God for all your blessings, think about those people who only wanted to live their lives and raise their families. They, also took time out to say "thank you" to Creator for all their blessings.

Help stop this FDA proposal to regulate natural health products out of existence!
Read the whole article here: www.newstarget.com/021789.html
As an avid consumer of natural health supplements and services such as acupuncture, I was extremely angry to read about a proposal by the Food and Drug Administrate to basically regulate alternative health products and services out of existence. The document is so broadly worded that almost ANYTHING could be labeled as "treating a disease" and thus requiring a prescription, or being banned entirely. This includes imports of herbs from other countries, vitamins and minerals, needles for acupuncture, massage stones, or juicing retreats.
Here are some excerpts from the document, which is called
Docket No. 2006D-0480: Draft Guidance for Industry on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Products and Their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration
“...a product used in a CAM [complementary or alternative medicine] therapy or practice may be subject to regulation as a biological product, cosmetic, drug, device, or food (including food additives and dietary supplements) under the act or the PHS Act. Second, neither the act nor the PHS Act exempts CAM products from regulation."
“...if a person decides to produce and sell raw vegetable juice for use in juice therapy to promote optimal health... [and] if the juice therapy is intended for use as part of a disease treatment regimen instead of for the general wellness, the vegetable juice would also be subject to regulation as a drug under the Act."
“..."biologically based practices" includes, but is not limited to, botanicals, animal-derived extracts, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, proteins, prebiotics and probiotics: whole diets, and "functional foods". ...a botanical product intended for use in treating a disease would generally be regulated as a drug." ..."functional foods" may be subject to FDA regulation as foods, dietary supplements, or drugs under the Act.”
This is ridiculous and, I believe, a severe threat to our civil liberties. Do you want to be able to use vitamins and herbs without getting a prescription from a doctor? How about growing herbs for medicinal purposes? I'm sure that most of us take at least one type of supplement that could be regulated out of existence by this act - anything from multivitamins to St. John's Wort.
If you want to put a stop to this, well, I made it easy for you with a whole bunch of resources:

My heart is so hurt and I am almost sick over here - Guantanamo
I just happened upon the award winning film on the net. I have heard allot about Guantanamo prison but this account helped meto further understand.
video.google.com/videoplay
I am so sad this is happening on earth.
I love my earth family.
Let’s start loving each other.
Loose the weapons... look into the eyes your brothers and sisters when you make the choice to inflict pain or hurt.
On any level be it small or large.
War/torture camps/mass graves - - these are reflections of the heart of many on earth.
We must all come to peace in ourselves and then that will be reflected out into the world.
It is happening.
I can see the hearts of many being turned.
We are awakening.
And the time is near my earth tribe where we make the transition.
I hope its not to bloody.
