I'm so truly grateful for Yeshe's loving support and friendship in my life! He is a real anchor for me in this stormy world...and a party just isn't the same without Yeshe and his classic dance moves!! Sincere and hard working and generous and real, considerate and compassionate with a flair for style and grace, you make me smile from the inside everytime I see you! I love you Yeshe!!!

what a disgrace to all the monks this cosmic trickster was...and thank zen for that! if he were never kicked out of the monastary, we may never have been so graced with his truly jewel-like presence...a bodhisattva with a seductive glance-- teaching us to walk tip-toe on the tightrope of inner journey while laughing at the deathly fall should we slip...and he knows how to wear a slip with feminine flair. if you haven't met him, you must. if you haven't had your lips tickled by his fu-man chewbedo, your loss. if your not doing the yeshe-twist with your lover, then all your tantric dreams have not been fully real-eyesed.

When I think of the word "beautiful, " this wonderous soul comes to mind! Without fail, whenever Yeshe enters my field of vision, a smile creeps across my lips and then fills my soul with joy until I giggle with gratitude. Yeshe is so genuine and alive there's no way he can contain it... and I'm so glad he doesn't try. And has anyone ever looked so good in a cowboy hat?! Thank you for sharing, you're an inspiration.

You are Loved
If you want to know how to heal, and how to become a healing presence on this Earth, there is one simple way: that is to know that you are loved. =Feel= how you are loved. Know that you are absolutely worthy of love. You will never be abandoned, not ever. You will never be rejected, not for any reason. The love that the universe has for you is absolutely without conditions. You do not have to "earn" it. You do not have to "deserve" it. You do not have to "prove" anything. Most important of all, you do not have to doubt your value or importance or worth to this universe. The universe loves you without conditions, without qualifications, and without reservations. The love that the universe has for you is absolutely unbounded. You can never expand your receptivity to this love enough -- there will always be a greater love that you can keep opening to. You are absolutely worthy and absolutely accepted and loved and valued and cherished by this universe. This is the essence of healing. If you understand and accept that you are totally worthy and loved without reservation by this universe, then you will naturally be a channel of this love for others. If you doubt that you are loved, if you doubt that you are worthy of love, if you wonder "Do I deserve to be loved," then you cannot help but have doubts about other people being worthy of love. If you feel that you have to "deserve" love in order to be loved, then you cannot help but feel that other people must "deserve" love in order for you to love them. If you feel that you may be rejected for your weaknesses and imperfections and the mistakes that you may make, then you cannot help but feel that other people may be rejected for =their= mistakes and =their= imperfections and weaknesses. So if you put yourself down as not being totally worthy of love, you re not making yourself a healing presence to others. But by accepting love and its healing power, you become a healer because you make it possible for other people to begin to accept love as well.. If you know that =you= are absolutely worthy of love, then you will have no doubts that everyone you meet is absolutely worthy of love also. If you can truly and fully accept the fact that =you= are loved without reservation by the universe, then you will know without doubt that everyone else you meet is also loved without reservation, and you will share in that love for them. undertanding and acceptance of this love can never cease to expand. As your Acceptance of this love expands, your Acceptance of others and of the universe will also expand. When you accept that the universe loves you without conditions and without reservations, then you will naturally live a love for others that is without conditions and without reservations. You start out dead and get that out of the way. Then you wake up in an assisted living facility feeling better every day. Then you get kicked out for being too healthy. Enjoy your retirement and collect your pension. Then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work 40 years until you're too young to work. I feel meditative concentration is a key element that is under developed in our freak community. Many of us have had dramatic and profound realizations either through auspicious circumstances and or through using psychedylics. However, having a glimpse of our profound inherent potential and gaining stability in those realizations such that one may benefit oneself and others on a meaningful level are two very different things. This is where a disciplined approach to mind training is crucial. It also has an added benefit of generating compassion for all other sentient beings based on seeing, through meditation, the inseperability of ones' own and all beings consciousness. this in turn fuels ones delegence in the path of meditation.

Realizing the inseperability of ones own and all sentient beings awareness also has the benefit of prventing one from indentifying with ones "spiritual" experiences and then constructing an ego around that. As if one were somehow special and spiritually superrior to those around them. This is a moderately common phenomena in our community. It results in tyhe very seperateness we have commited ourselves to eliminating. Spiritual ego is nearly indestructable. In some texts this is called the attainment of Rudrahood, the antithesis of Buddhahood.

Namo Ratna Guru When thoughts that there is something perceived and a perceiver Lure my mind away and distract, I don't close my senses' gateways to meditate without them But plunge straight into their essential point They're like clouds in the sky, there's this shimmer where they fly, Thoughts that rise, for me sheer delight! When kleshas get me going and their heat has got me burning, I try no antidote to set them right, Like an alchemistic potion turning metal into gold, What lies in kleshas' power to bestow Is bliss without contagion, completely undefiled, Kleshas coming up, sheer delight! When I'm plagued by god-like forces or demonic interference, I do not drive them out with rites and spells, The thing to chase away is the egoistic thinking Built up on the idea of a self This will turn those ranks of maras into your own special forces, When obstacles arise, sheer delight! When samsara with its anguish has me writhing in its torments, Instead of wallowing in misery, I take the greater burden down the greater path to travel And let compassion set me up To take upon myself the sufferings of others, When karmic consequences bloom, delight! When my body has succumbed to attacks of painful illness, I do not count on medical relief But take that very illness as a path and by its power Remove the obscurations blocking me, And use it to encourage the qualities worthwhile, When illness rears its head, sheer delight!
