I've been working the past two years in the polymer industry... I removed myself from my last position (long story) primarily because it was a shit job.

Now I have the opportunity to leave behind the chemical industry and polymers as a whole and move into the software industry. This is odd because a friend hooked me up with this gig as a short term solution to me sitting around, being bored. But now they are willing to train me to be a software engineer in their development team.
