Turns out my new housemate in the place I moved into last month doesn't actually hold the lease on the apartment. Now the leaseholder is planning to return from Australia and wants to move back in.

So now I've got until the end of August to locate another cheap room in the SoMa/Civic Center/Inner Mission area.
