about me
I'm a transplanted New Yorker living in a dusty desert in S. California. I found the joy of bellydancing at an engagement party in Kuwait City a few years ago, and since then, I've been hooked. Currently, I'm a student learning from the fabulous Aziza Sa'id and a professional dancer.

I just found this on the interwebs today. Yes, I'm a Tarkan aficionado, but his made me giggle and I don't know why.

What you'll see here is my favorite Tarkan iteration...the long-haired Tarkan from his "Kuzu Kuzu" days (sorry folks, I have a thing for guys with long dark hair. And when it's on... read more

After a really freaky flight into NYC, I've decided that it's too cold here to think. Why freaky? I flew Continental the day after one of their planes kinda fell apart in Denver. During the last leg of the trip, we had the kind of turbulence that suddenly makes me religious...to make the long story short, I was on one of those flights where people clap when we land.
