My dog Ivan, a mostly Husky and Malamute mix, is 16 years old today! He's the white guy on the left in the photo (his buddy, Granite, the black dog, is around 17). I've had Ivan and his sisters since they were born. Unfortunately none of his litter mates are still with us, which makes Ivan's advanced age all the more amazing. Apparently there's an advantage to being the runt!

Ivan celebrated his birthday by dumping his food bowl and having an accident on the carpet. (Ivan celebrates most days by dumping his food and having an accident on the carpet).
