i think most people walk this earth
replaying a significant drama or emotional song.

yet if one's schtick doesn't happen to be in the emo-du jour menu of the cultural top forty,
you maybe in for quite a few tentative sideways glances.

odd how
from the proper angle
the random pockets of holiday silence
can be totally beautiful

step away from the crowds
dodge family or friends that
insist on the dour scourge of
lack or misanthropy

and there is something
quite surreal timeless and peaceful
when the year truly begins to wind down...

if one were required to choose between:

a) reserved brainy wit in a wry safe sarcastic cocoon
and
b) goofy silly vibrancy dancing outside the realms of boho cool composure


which one would you go for? ; P

so if the separation between all humans is merely an illusion.
and the distance is created in the mind

maybe compassion of the heart
is like a reverse polarity to logic?
