about me
Burner. Triber. Bard. Dancer at the end of time. Freak of nature hitching a ride on the shaman underground railroad, living like it could all be over in a moment, following my bliss wherever it may lead, reaching out to embrace whatever may come...
In the warmer months, I'm outdoors celebrating life under the sky, in the fresh air, surround by trees or desert, feeling the earth beneath my feet as I dance myself into my favorite state of being where the mind is empty, the body moves fluidly fast, the heart feels love for all, time slows, and everything becomes one long exhalation... and I am at peace with my Self and the universe...
On my way to Burning Man this year, I had a conversation at Mt. Shasta's Buddha Hole with a very beloved old friend and a new friend about people sending random and/or negative thoughts out into the universe when smoking tobacco or any other substance considered sacred by many cultures worldwide. The conversation totally changed the way I perceive smoking. Now, I have changed my smoking habit into a meditation to interact with the universe, and all contained within, in a more positive, mindfu...

Manifesting positive changes in one’s life using self-talk can be tricky. People often project the changes to behavior or feeling into future tense statements or use negatively worded statements when internalizing their self-talk. It is far better to talk to one's Self in a positive fashion in the present tense. The subconscious does not understand the concept of future when phrases like "want to be" and "will be" are used in self-talk. The subconscious also does not understand negatives such...

It's nice to be home, sleeping in one's own bed, cuddling with cat kids, and taking some time to ground again... Though, I am discovering that everywhere I travel becomes home to me now... Restless spirit I am now that body feels much better, calm, centered, accepting, blissed, and blessed all. My heart is everywhere now... And anywhere I am is now my home... It's all so good.
My mind, heart, and spirit are still wandering around though... Flashing through sweet memories of Burning M...

Burning Man this year was fantastic!!!
Monday's dust storm broke two of my tent poles and destroyed a lot of other camps while shutting down the entrance for six hours, trapping people in their cars.
Me... I was walking and riding around checking on peeps and helping people resurrect their shelters. Goddess, but I love the Playa!!!
Meet many new friends and many old friends, including people that I only knew of by word-of-mouth. Everyday was spectacular and special, full of learni...

I finally got my pics up on Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/dreadedzen
My review copied from NW604 Tribe:
-------------------------------------------------------
I had a most spectacular time in the woods trancing with you all.
Yes, I dug the latrines, but others provided ideas and modifications that made them truly usable and memorable. Laurel and Levin spruced up the dance latrine by adding privacy screens, toilet paper dispenser with covered supply stash, pit modifications, a...

Accepts no limitations. Dances non-stop, parties like he's 22. Always learning, doing, becoming. Not afraid to take a leap of faith. Constantly reinventing himself. So good to have a partner that can keep up with my mad energy, and still stay grounded to get everything done.
Zen you know how much I love you.

Handsome. Gentle. Sweet. Caring. Attentive. Generous. Funny. Dorky. Super Sexay. Super Smart. Super Talented. This man can build a house, fix your computer, your car, your fucked up back, AND draw you a super detailed and totally awesome design, custom to how he sees you. A man of good character, positive mindset and someone who can stand the trials of life, coming out the other side without a jaded sword. I'm sure there is more...and I've only known him a few weeks. High marks for Zen! Woohoo!
