Yojimbo (The Bodyguard, 1961) is a fine example of a samurai/western movie by the incomparable Akira Kurosawa.
A ronin (rogue samurai) happens upon a small violent town and plays two gangs of criminals against each other.
The story was co-opted for A Fistful of Dollars, Last Man Standing and Omega Doom.

All the way from Akita, Japan, Zilla is proud to host Saito-san, The President of Saiya Brewery; the makers of Yuki no Bosha and Yuri Masamune.

Saito-san will be Zilla's guest on Wednesday May 21st for a complementary saké tasting of some of our finest saké from 7:30 – 8:30pm. We will be serving two of our best Daiginjo Saké in the house: Yuki no Bosha Akita Komachi Daiginjo and Katchou Gesseki Daiginjo, as well as everyone’s happy hour favorites; Yuki No Bosha Junmai Ginjo and Yuri Masamune- "The brewer's table saké."

Zilla will also be offering specials on bottles all night.

Saiya Brewery is one of the top breweries in Japan, winning national medals in saké making. Yuki no Bosha is one of the top selling artisan hand-crafted saké in America. Saiya Brewery is also known as the first brewery in Japan to create organic saké.

Saito-san has excellent information, saké stories and insight to share. Help welcome Saito-san on his first visit to Portland!
