Words to the Wise; read at your own risk

May 27, 2005
Ziza is sooo talented, I always love all the different things she makes, especially her jewelry!
January 30, 2005
Ziza is a kitty...a _bad_ kitty. This is only to be expected, because all kitties are bad kitties. In fact she is *The* Bad Kitty. A loveable, cute, bad ol' kitty.

She makes art. All kinds of art. All kinds of *beautiful* art. And jewelry. And she knits things, like red beanies for me with little horns on, and sweaters for really small dogs and kitties. And people see the things she makes, and they become covetous, and so she spreads her badness throughout the land.

Come to think of it, she is too talented. She must be an alien kitty. Or a robot kitty.

My Trouble-Making Activities

Bindi; SUPA-STAR!!!! (blog entry) This is a pic of Bindi at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf where we like to hang out. I was so surprised to see this picture actually up. They had told me the pictures were to be for 'internal use only'. Hmmmmm. I just get tickled every time I go into... read more

Re: Knitting crisis... (in Bellydancing/ handspinning/ fiber freaks) Honestly, I love it. This is in my que, minus the fluffy stuff on the edges. Maybe if you get a shawl pin and only wear it closed, it might drape better for you. Otherwise, try to sell it, it's lovely, really.

Re: Got goat? Need some brainstorming! (in Bellydancing/ handspinning/ fiber freaks) Maybe a little off topic, but I for one would love to see a picture of her. ;)

Incessant Babbeling

This is a pic of Bindi at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf where we like to hang out. I was so surprised to see this picture actually up. They had told me the pictures were to be for 'internal use only'. Hmmmmm. I just get tickled every time I go into a location and see her though.
They have changed the ads now, but I hear there are still posters of her floating about. That's my Baby!

Well, I don't actually know what they were, but they smelled like LEATHER. Lot's and lots of LEATHER. Mmmmmmm.
They look like Hun's don't they? Well this was the last day at Faire, didn't think I'd make it. I was pretty worn out. The spring was busy, busy busy, plus I got sick twice, had the chorizo poisoning, had the car get broke, and danced in public for the first time.
WHEW!
I like how this picture makes me look like I'm a Hobbit. I'm actually sitting on the guy's knee, but it doesn't ... read more

Is over, thank goodness. Had a good season though, even though I started presents late and had to knit like crazy. My present this year was a spinning wheel. I'm very excited, but also a little intimidated, so I haven't used it yet. I did get a few lessons at the store where we got it from, but I just keep thinking that I'm gonna mess it up somehow and get frustrated. Dumb, I know.
Anyway, this is a really boreing picture of my spinning wheel this time, from the Ashford website, but you know... read more

www.youtube.com/watch

A little video I found to share. I love this woman's dancing. She's abso-frick'n-ma'zin in person to watch. Honestly mesmerizing. Plus her fetish for ethnic sliver bracelets rivals my own.
This video is a little shaky at first, but gets better.

Enjoy

Well, in the past I have often thought about how it would be living in another time or century. Been fascinated by those shows that throw people into an alternate lifestyle/century etc; like Frontier House and Manor House. There was even a Stone Age one. My first thought about these have been A) No indoor plumbing, and B) No hot water for bathing, washing etc. Kind of goes together in my head; indoor plumbing=hot water for bathing.
I will readily admit that I am rather anal about the whole ... read more
