I must admit...

...that when I was 19 the Utah Saints were one of the most amazing bands I had ever heard. In my tiny world, they were pivitol (it's okay, you can laugh). I just had never heard anything like them before. And when I hear them today, I still feel that same giddy rush of "a new sound" to my ears.

Listening to Athena

I sold some art at the show that just closed -- always a good thing! So now I'm prepping for some more. I'll be hibernating for a while, ruminating, creating. If ya don't hear from me, it's not for lack of love. It just that when the Muse takes you by the hand, ya gotta run with her…even if she steals you away for months and months.

It's old art viewing time...

...because I'm working on four new pieces and they aren't quite done yet. But when they are finished, I'll post pics. Until then...let's just look at some of my art from earlier this year. The muse has struck recently and has been keeping me up until the wee hours each night carving my new prints. Can we all say "carpal tunnel syndrome"...youch!
