So typically even before an event is over I am already plotting "what's next" for msZuza Productions. I have ideas, but seem to have lost my momentum.
Maybe that's I sign I should slow down for a while? Or does it mean I should push through it and plan anyway?
For the next few months, anyway, I'm going to enjoy the mad creations of others - and even partake in them a bit myself.
As for my own events, stay tuned....

The Thorp Workshop and Hafla on Sunday was a great experience!
I was happy I got there early, as I was able to drop into the drumming class. It was non-intimidating but fun. I then had a fabulous time teaching a group of great women about dancing dramatically - they all were drama queens by the end of the afternoon! And the hafla was a blast. Just people having a good time - dancing and drumming when the mood strikes. I hope everyone enjoyed my performance at the end - and that I was able...

Yesterday I had a chance to totally immerse myself in belly dance for a day - which hasn't been possible in quite a while.
I took Ariellah's belly dance boot camp. Although I'm a little sore this morning, it was the best thing I've done for myself and my dance in a while. She has such a wealth of knowledge about how to drill and condition your body - and encouraged us to take one thing away as a focus for our own practice.

Zuza and I have been Fargo Buddies twice now. She's a delight to travel with. During our first trip, I found out how hilarious it can be to get lost in a small Midwestern city with someone who likes to laugh. During the second trip, I found out the joys of having a travelling companion who likes to hit the hot tub after dancing all weekend. Bliss!
When Totally Northern Tribal was first starting, I was amazed to find out that Zuza had only been dancing for three years. She has the poise and presence of a much more experienced dancer. And, as time goes on, she keeps getting better!
The various forms of fusion (Bollywood, Spanish, etc.) look very good with her style, too. Keep going, lady!

Zuza is a founding member of Totally Northern Tribal, and her commitment to the troupe is fantastic. In addition to being a dedicated dancer, she is our web mistress, organized our photo shoots and took the initiative in designing our logo and business cards.
As a dancer she raks, whether leading, following, in the chorus or adding a little salsa to rehearsal.
Also, she is a lot of fun on a road trip.

I first saw Zuza in Fargo, SD at the picnic the night before the Pura event started. She really impressed me as a very powerful and alive woman. She has a commanding presence that shines through in her dancing. A personality that requires you to listen to the important things she has to say with her dance.
I cannot wait to see her dance again.

I had the opportunity to meet ZuZu in Fargo last year. We had a great time dancing in the chorus line at the park and admiring everyone in the dressing room with Carolena. It's a pleasure to hang out with my tribal sisters! I really enjoyed her solo at the show!

Zuza is fabulous! I love watching her dance. She's a great tribal dancer and a very expressive solo dancer. I really enjoy spending time with her during my bellydance travels. She also gives the best directions. Especially if we're going for thai food ;)
