I’m sure the majority of you have read about the young boy & his mother attempting to flee the country after being ordered to have chemotherapy by the court. I have mixed feelings about this, at one time I would’ve thought the parents were totally nuts. Since then my circumstance changed and I've learned a lot in reference to this subject. Now I don’t know. Which no one does absolutely until faced with the decision. If I develop cancer i... read more
I was just reading an article about excess and how this turn of events is like everything else containing good and bad aspects. A few years ago Malika Oufkir the guest speaker on Oprah was discussing her novel “Stolen Lives” one of two non-fictional selections to make Oprah’s book Club. I just happened to watch that program. Her story was quite compelling and I made a note to get the book, but I never did. Until, the other day when browsing at the Used Book Store I spotted it at a bargain and decided to buy it. To me it was well worth the $2.50.
