Friday Evening - the fun begins:::
A Guided Henna Experience w/ Mychele 7>9pm
And them we will melt and relax... wine, music, henna, hookahs and dance!

Saturday - we DANCE !
West African Warm-up :: 10-11a (1 hour)
Liquid Layers :: 11:30a-1:30p (2 hours)
Supah' Saucy :: 2:30-5:30p (3 hours)
** She will share some of their signature Zafira stylizations**

Sat night.... show is in the works...

Sunday
Cane - Master Class :: 11a-2p (3 hours)

Sunday....
***4pm - Margaritas on a sunny patio..

The next 4 week session begins this week! Yusefina ( yusefina.com/Gallery.html ) will be teaching a BRAND NEW Tribal'esque Choreography... It is absolutely suitable for group or solo performance... and rumor has it there is a little veil in this one! Everyone in the class (who is interested in putting it on the stage) will be invited to perform this piece at an upcoming Banjaran Salon at Avant Garden... how fun is that?

NO need to know the UG vocabulary or have any tribal background at all to take this series of classes!!

Just bring your smile and knowledge of belly dance basics with you!

The series of four (4) 90 minute classes is $70.. drop ins are $20. No need to pre-register. Please show up 5 minutes early for your first class to sign up. (Cash or check only, please.)

Classes are held at Bayou Park Fitness Center 4400 Memorial - Shepherd at Memorial

Urban Gypsy is bringing some things to the stage you haven't seen in a long while and some things you've NEVER seen before! Yusefina's & her students will be debuting a drum solo, Amiya with sword, Jala in lovely sequins and beads, some crazy veil, spinning skirts.. and so many shimmies!
